You can use containers to garden in your city space, whether you have a yard, a patio, a set of stairs, or just a windowsill. Urban Jungle horticulturalist Erica Smith will take you through the basics of container gardening, including design, plant selection, and container placement. Cost includes instruction only. $15. Vertical Greening Your Own Green Décor Panel
Have limited floor space in your home, backyard or deck? People everywhere regardless of their gardening experience can grow plants "up" by going vertical with their greening. In this workshop, participants will learn how to design, install, and maintain their very own Green Dcor Panel, which they will take home! This hands-on workshop is taught by Urban Jungle owner Curt Alexander and Partner Kim Labno. Cost includes instruction and all materials. $120 for a standard one pocket panel measuring 1 X 2. Create a self-contained ecosystem that you can display right in your living room! Terrariums are easy to make, easy to care for, and can be kept almost anywhere in the house. Learn how to create your own terrarium to take home in this hands-on workshop with Urban Jungle horticulturalist Erica Smith. Glass vessels and plants will be available for purchase (prices range from $50 to $90 for glass vessels and plants) or feel free to bring your own. Cost includes instruction and soil. $20.
