Sept. 9th - Fall Vegetable Gardening

Join Urban Jungle Horticulturalist Doris Stahl and learn how you can grow vegetables in the upcoming cool weather of Fall. Find out what kinds of vegetables can be grown, how to extend your harvest of vegetables into the winter, and how to do it all in a small space! Cost includes instruction, wine, and snacks. $20 per person.
Sept. 23rd - DIY Herbal Vinegars and Oils

Making your own culinary herb vinegars and oils is a wonderful way to bring your garden into your home, while adding some "zing" to salads, soups, stews and marinades! Join Doris Stahl, Master Gardener and Urban Horticulture Educator with Penn State Extension as she takes you through the process of making your own flavored vinegars and oils using herbs from the garden. Cost includes instruction, bottles, herbs, vinegar, oil, recipes, wine, and snacks. $20 per person.
October 7th, 6pm, 6:30pm or 7pm - DIY Terrariums Create a self-contained ecosystem that you can display right in your living room! Terrariums are easy to make, easy to care for, and when correctly planted, can be kept almost anywhere in the house. Learn how to create your own terrarium to take home in this hands-on workshop with Urban Jungle horticulturalist Erica Smith. Glass vessels and plants will be available for purchase (prices range from $20 to $60 for glass vessels) or feel free to bring your own. Cost includes instruction, container media, wine, and snacks. $20 per person.

October 21st - Urban Tree Care 101
REGISTER
Learn how to properly care for your trees from certified arborist Paul Morano. Whether you have street trees in front of your building or trees in your yard, come learn the basics of pruning, watering, and tree maintenance. Cost includes instruction, wine, and snacks. $20 per person.
FREE Pumpkin-Carving Station
We will have a special FREE pumpkin-carving station in the store every Saturday in the month of October! Pumpkins will be available for purchase in the store and you can use our carving tools to create a spooky jack-o-lantern, just in time for Halloween.
